Why you chose your name:
It’d probably be a piece of cake for anyone else to come up with a nick name. But I have the hardest times with these types of things. A lot of times I’m told I’m “hard to read” (of COURSE, it’s been guys sayin this bullshit). They always think, for some reason, that there’s more to be known about me — “mysterious”, they say. So what better name than “The Sphinx” to describe myself? Plus, I like the Egyptians

If you were one chick from SATC, Girlfriends, or Living Single- who would you be and why?
I’d definitely be Carrie from SATC, and a mixture of 75%/25% Toni/Lynn from Girlfriends. I’m Carrie because I love fashion. From the shoe collection to the belts (and I love both!). Like Carrie too, I am sometimes a romantic, but not exclusive of reality. I’m creative and sometimes artsy in my own sense, and I love, love LOVE the Urban environment!
Toni, because I’m driven, most of the time. I know what I want, and I go after it. However, Lynn kicks in sometimes when I am feeling overwhelmed, and just want to forget the complicated stuff of life.
Why you choose to blog:
I chose to blog (with the fabulous Lioness) because I realized I have a lot of questions to ask, and a lot of “stuff” to say about the status of our society.
What makes you want to grab a shovel?
Bullshit. I cannot tolerate the bullshit. And nowadays, seems like that’s running pretty rampant around here. As a matter of fact,…. WHERE’s MY DAMN SHOVEL!?!?!?
