Why you chose your name:
The Sphinx actually chose the name “The Lioness” for me, but I think that it is emblematic of the person that I am: predatory, territorial, protective, beautiful, and deadly. Besides, the lioness is the queen of the jungle. If that’s not who I am then I don’t know what is- lol. Oh wait, except, for that whole ”the lioness goes out and hunts and brings back the food while the male sits on his ass all day” part. Now that right there is some bullshit.

If you were one chick from SATC, Girlfriends, or Living Single- who would you be and why?
Maxine Shaw, Attorney at Law- a lover of food and sex, independent, blunt to the point of abrasive, competitive to a fault, emotional as a brick, and 100% loyal to her girls.  Like The Sphinx, I would mix a little bit of Lynn in there too though because of her passion for the arts and her tendency to do whatever she feels like when she feels like it.

Why you choose to blog:
I chose to blog because I love telling stories but I don’t have enough patience for a book. I enjoy making people laugh and hell what else do I have to do?

What makes you want to grab a shovel? 

Games. I hate when people play games. Whether it’s at work and someone tells me they will have their submission in on time and they don’t, or a homegirl who cancels a trip at the last minute when she knew she wasn’t going all along, or a man who says he wants a relationship when he really just wants to hit. I mean why play games? Just be upfront about yours because I will always be upfront about mine.
