It’s Been a Long Time…Shouldna Left You…

We know we’ve been away for a while and we would like to thank everyone who emailed us and came through the site to check up on us. Though it may seem impossible, all of the PMS girls- Lioness, Sphinx, Abyss, Siren, Evolver and the Inquirer- have moved over the holidays and Prototype will be moving shortly as well. All of us are heading in new and exciting directions with our careers and relationships, so it will be quite interesting to see how our posts will change based on our new locations and perspectives.

So what’s up with The Lioness? Well, over the holidays, I was transferred for work (promoted ) so I have moved from Detroit. I am working twelve hour days now which accounts for why I have been missing in action. I OFFICIALLY started my natural hair care journey at the beginning of the year. I have been without relaxers for some time but I haven’t been taking care of my hair and I happened to stumble across this website called http://www.longhairdontcare.net and I have been inspired to actively grow my natural hair. Maybe, I will document my journey on here. I am developing my “side hustles” to get away from corporate America- and I’m entertaining the idea of writing a book or opening a store- two totally different ideas I know but why limit myself? I am also working on my certification for work. And, as always, dealing with trifling ass men and they trifling ass ways (not to say that there aren’t any good men out there- I just haven’t been attracting them).

And The Sphinx? Well, I’ve had my hands tied – Literally! No, just kidding. I have also been up to a lot. Work was getting hectic for me as well. A lot more responsibility and a lot of promise in the position (they love me @ that place, and they know I’m a damn good worker), but I just wasn’t feeling it. So I decided to quit. I moved out of state and moved in with the boo. The job I thought I was going to have lined up in the new place didn’t quite come through, so now I’m back in the job search mode so I might still be a bit flaky with the posts.

As for the rest of the gang, The Abyss was dating the white guy but I won’t spoil her story and The Siren did not get down with her boss. They actually transferred her to another branch. Prototype is taking a sabbatical, The Evolver was promoted and is working on her second master’s  degree, and the Inquirer was laid off her job, was in grind mode, and is now at a new job.

So, for the second (or maybe third) time, the PMS girls are back. Though we may not post as frequently as before, we love each and every one of you and will do our best to keep you entertained. Thanks for riding along with us!
